I can feel a obsession coming on! http://nurturestore.co.uk
I came across it on Pinterest and am now constantly writing down ideas that I want to try/make with Cerys. I have been on the look out for a website like this for so long. There are lots of Halloween and Autumn themed things to make and do at on there at the moment!
We made our very first one yesterday - the Halloween yarn pumpkin and there are so many more I want to attempt! Can't wait! :-)
I tend to snap away with the camera all the time so much so that my daughter calls me "camera face". I have real life scrapbooks at my home but welcome to my virtual one, possibly only seen by me but will contain memories to treasure forever.

Popcorn and lollipops!
We enjoyed a pleasant afternoon at Folly Farm, no I'm not always there ;-)
I fell in love with this horse in photo!
He spent most of his time with his back to everybody but for some reason we caught each others eye. As I walked over to see him he came directly over to me! Lovely moment!
Cerys had a lovely time, we saw animals, went on rides and managed the play area today. We also managed doughnuts and popcorn and came home with sweets and a lollipop!
I always get inspired by the sensory experience that they have. I would really like to have some
Lights like these in Cerys's bedroom obviously on a smaller scale!
Well,we had a lovely day and made even better by the news that my nephew got a gold and a bronze medal in his gym competition today! Well done Danny!
Had the usual frantic Sunday evening but sat down now with Downton Abbey on the TV- my little treat before the week ahead!
If anybody chances to come across this post- wishing you a good week ahead! :-)

Suddenly- Madame glamour
Yes, the thought of wearing a supermarket brand perfume scared me. A few months ago though I found it on offer at £1.99 instead of the usual £3.99 in my local Lidl so I had to try it. I have to admit I was not very familiar with Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle but I am a fan of Coco Chanel original and at £1.99 it was no to be sniffed at (pardon the pun) :-)
First impressions, I wasn't too sure but it has grown on me. More importantly, I thought that somebody was wearing the Lidl perfume recently but it was in fact Chanel.
I wore it today and had lots of compliments. While nobody did ask was it Chanel, I did get asked was it Calvin Klein? So my fears of it smelling cheap have vanished!
I don't find that it lasts for too long but at under a fiver I don't think you can complain. For a day to day perfume
It does the job and a good job at that!
I like the bottle itself except for the white bottle top but again at that price- I really can't complain!
Very impressed!

Confronting your fears!
We visited Folly Farm last week. I bought Cerys a annual pass so it is somewhere that can regularly visit and we don't have to worry if we don't get to see/do everything in one day. The Vintage Fair seems to be her favourite at the moment though. It is lovely to see her wanting to go on more and more rides but...now she is asking me to take her on things that I am scared of. I have a fear of heights, apart from when I am on a aeroplane- I do enjoy the views from all the way up there. She asked me to take her on the The Giant Helter-Skelter. I reluctantly agreed, the thought only went through my head about six times to run back down to the bottom. Watching her climb up the steps, I was so thankful that she has not inherited my fear. We had to queue at the top (not for long) but a long time for a scared person and I was embarrassed feeling like that when there were young children climbing up and getting on without a care in the world.
I then had to face my next fear, getting into the sack and it going down before I was ready or before Cerys was on with me. (irrational person alert)!
I am very proud to say though that I had nothing to worry about and I loved the "going down" part so much which did make the "going up" part worth it. (I really wish I had a photo as proof)
The best part of it all- Cerys's face and yes that was her favourite part of the day So it looks like I will have to face many more experiences like this in the future!

What a difference a year makes
Only one week until my daughter starts full time school! We set off today for the usual visit to Clarks. I had already decided in my head not to rise my expectations over what shoes would be avaliable in her size. Although secretly inside I still wanted to have the patent ones with the flashy lights, the ones that she had for her first pair of shoes. She had a pair of those shoes for less than a month! We somehow lost one shoe between the parent and child car parking space and the entrance to tesco, I immediately retraced my steps but that shoe was never to be found.
I have obviously never completely got over this as everytime we see this shoes I get drawn towards them. Cerys picked these out today too before getting measured. She tried them on and they looked gorgeous but she then decided that she now longer liked these. This was when I realised that a lot has changed between shopping with a three year old to a four year old. She has her own mind and a very strong one at that. She eventually picked some out that she liked and that weren't "too squeaky". They unfortunately didn't have her size so we have ordered the correct size to be delivered to store, hopefully by friday. I just hope that she hasn't changed her mind by then. :-)
